Job summary

Accounting Career Consultants seeks a Field Safety Manager to lead safety initiatives on a major industrial construction project in Missouri. This on-site role collaborates with field teams, project leadership, and operations to embed safe work practices and drive risk reduction.

You will conduct inspections, coach supervisors, develop safety plans, and participate in incident investigations. OSHA 30 and BCSP required; strong field experience preferred for this highly visible opportunity.

Qualifications

• OSHA 30 certification is required.
• BCSP credential is required.
• Strong knowledge of construction jobsites, field operations, hazards, and safe work practices.
• Experience conducting safety inspections, audits, and hazard assessments.
• Ability to coach and communicate with field employees and project stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Perform documented jobsite safety inspections and audits to identify hazards and opportunities for improvement.
• Communicate safety observations and corrective actions to project managers and field supervisors.
• Support development and management of project-specific safety plans and procedures.
• Provide coaching during safety huddles to ensure meaningful discussions.
• Partner with operations during preconstruction to integrate safety into execution.
• Monitor subcontractor activities for compliance with safety requirements.
• Prepare and maintain reports on safety performance and corrective actions.
• Develop and deliver on-site safety training for field personnel.
