Job summary

ACC Recruiters seeks an experienced Construction Field Safety Manager to lead safety initiatives on Missouri's largest industrial project. This on-site role partners with field teams and leadership to promote safe work practices and effective execution.

Responsibilities include inspections, corrective action coaching, safety plan development, training delivery, and reporting. Per diem, discretionary bonuses, and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of professional construction safety experience.
• Strong knowledge of field operations, jobsite hazards, and safe work practices.
• Experience conducting safety inspections, audits, and hazard assessments.
• Knowledge of incident investigation, root cause analysis and corrective action.
• Ability to coach and communicate with field employees, foremen, supervisors, project managers, and other stakeholders.
• Experience delivering construction safety training and employee orientations.
• Ability to recognize hazards and recommend corrective measures.
• Strong documentation, organizational and relationship-building skills.
• Collaborate with project leadership, general contractors, subcontractors and other trades.
• Experience supporting industrial construction projects is highly desirable.
• Data center or mission-critical construction experience is a plus.
• Must be comfortable working in active construction/field environments.
• Valid driver's license and ability to meet driving requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform documented jobsite safety inspections and audits to identify hazards and opportunities for improvement.
• Communicate safety observations and required corrective actions to project managers and foremen.
• Develop, implement, and manage project-specific safety plans and procedures.
• Participate in jobsite safety huddles and coach field leadership to ensure meaningful discussions.
• Coach supervisors and field employees on safe work practices and preventive measures.
• Build strong relationships with field teams to proactively identify safety risks and improvements.
• Document safety activities, hazards, corrective actions, and coordination with contractors.
• Partner with operational leaders during preconstruction and planning to include safety considerations.
• Maintain relationships with employees, management, customers, and safety representatives.
• Monitor subcontractor activities for compliance with safety requirements.
• Support emergency response activities and incident investigations.
• Prepare reports related to safety performance and corrective actions.
• Develop and deliver jobsite safety training for field and office personnel.
• Assist with safety orientation for new and existing employees.
• Collaborate to address safety concerns and continuously improve practices.
• Perform additional safety-related responsibilities as required.
