Holder Construction seeks a Safety Coordinator to join our Safety team on projects in Herndon, VA. This is a full-time, in-person position.

The Safety Coordinator will execute the project safety program, support trade partners, and ensure compliance with Holder standards and regulatory requirements. You will lead safety planning for high-risk activities, conduct daily inspections, assist investigations, review JHAs, and deliver safety orientations to subcontractors and field personnel.

Qualifikationen

• OSHA 30 required.
• Working knowledge of construction means, methods, and sequencing.
• Ability to communicate and reinforce expectations with field personnel.
• Progress toward BCSP certification (ASP, CHST, or equivalent preferred).

Aufgaben

• Execute Holder's safety program for assigned trades or work areas.
• Conduct daily safety inspections and document findings.
• Lead safety planning and coordination for high-risk activities in partnership with operations.
• Support incident, near miss, and first aid investigations using root cause analysis.
• Review and support development of JHAs and high-risk activity plans.
• Deliver safety orientations and training to subcontractors and field personnel.
• Reinforce expectations and proactively address safety concerns in the field.
