Select Construction seeks an Assistant Project Manager / Superintendent to join our NYC/NJ team. This role supports COOs, PMs, and Superintendents with daily on-site operations, travel between project sites as needed, and hands-on learning to take on greater responsibility.

Ideal candidates hold a construction-related degree or 2+ years' experience, can read drawings, and are detail-oriented with strong communication and problem-solving skills. Valid driver's license required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or related field or 2+ years of construction experience.
• Procore proficiency preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and a team player.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle required.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and project team members.
• Support field operations, sequencing, and the project schedule.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized job site.
• Read and interpret architectural, structural, and MEP/FP drawings.
• Assist with submittals, RFIs, and project documentation.
• Prepare look-ahead schedules, daily logs, and photo reports.
• Help manage material deliveries, load-ins, and site logistics.
• Assist with project closeout and demobilization.
• Identify and communicate field issues promptly.
