Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree required, preferred in Construction Management/Civil Engineering.
0-5 years of experience in the construction field or related field in a similar role.
Understands building plans and specifications.
Knowledge of safety standards and enforcement.
OSHA 30 Required.
Responsibilities
Help administer project safety program to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
Provide technical assistance on the project, interpret contract drawings and submittals.
Manage select self-perform operations and subcontractor operations.
Assist Superintendent and Project Manager with daily and weekly tasks.
Understand the schedule and the critical path.
Review and provide content for the short-term plan.
Participate in quality program including inspections and verifying materials.
Interface with various representatives in a professional manner.
Participate in business development and create leads for future projects.
Participate in meetings and training sessions.
Develop skills required to become a Superintendent.
