Job summary

Select Construction in NYC is seeking an Assistant Project Manager / Superintendent to support COO, PMs, and Superintendents with day-to-day operations across multiple project sites. This full-time, on-site role emphasizes hands-on learning and increasing responsibility while traveling between sites as needed.

The ideal candidate has a construction background, is detail‑oriented, organized, and a team player; Procore knowledge is preferred and a valid driver's license is required to coordinate

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction-related field or 2+ years of relevant construction experience.
• Procore proficiency preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and a team player.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and project team members.
• Support field operations, sequencing, and the project schedule.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized job site.
• Read and interpret architectural, structural, and MEP/FP drawings.
• Assist with submittals, RFIs, and project documentation.
• Prepare look-ahead schedules, daily logs, and photo reports.
• Help manage material deliveries, load-ins, and site logistics.
• Assist with project closeout and demobilization.
• Identify and communicate field issues promptly.

Education

With a growing backlog of work, we are expanding our team and seeking an Assistant Project Manager / Superintendent to join us.

Position Overview

Full-time, on-site role supporting the COO, Project Managers, and Superintendents with day-to-day construction operations. The ideal candidate has a construction background, is hands‑on, motivated to learn, and ready to take on increasing responsibility while traveling between project sites as needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and project team members
• Support field operations, sequencing, and the project schedule
