Job summary

Turner Construction Company is seeking a field operations assistant to help gather and coordinate information to keep the project on schedule and quality.

You'll assist in site safety, review drawings for proper coordination, and support daily construction reporting. The role emphasizes teamwork, initiative, and strong communication while ensuring adherence to contract documents and Turner safety standards.

Qualifications

• Two years of college education from accredited program in Engineering or Construction.
• Building construction, engineering, or equivalent experience preferred.
• Good interpersonal skills and ability to work within a team.
• Demonstrate initiative and desire to learn; strong written and verbal communication.
• Proficient with computer applications, data entry, and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Perform line and grade work for building layout and control.
• Assist in implementation of site safety program.
• Ensure subcontractor compliance with Turner safety standards and applicable safety codes and regulations.
• Assist in maintenance of contract documents and electronic web-based documents for field operations.
• Assist in preparation of Daily Construction Reports (DCRs).
• Review drawings and shop drawings for proper coordination and installation.
• Assist in preparation of project as-builts.
• Assist in protection and promotion of Turner interests.
