Job summary

Turner Construction Company is seeking an entry-level field operations assistant for a project in Halethorpe, MD. You will support layout, safety, and documentation activities to ensure quality and schedule adherence on site.

The role involves coordinating with subs, reviewing drawings, and helping prepare reports and as-builts while upholding Turner safety standards and project goals.

Qualifications

• Two years of college education in Engineering, Construction or relevant field.
• Interest or experience in building construction preferred.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Proficient with basic computer applications and scheduling awareness.

Responsibilities

• Perform line and grade work for building layout and control.
• Assist in implementing site safety program.
• Ensure subcontractor compliance with safety standards and codes.
• Maintain contract documents and electronic site records.
• Prepare Daily Construction Reports (DCRs).
• Review drawings and specs for proper coordination and installation.
• Assist in preparing as-builts and project documentation.
• Support project team to protect Turner interests.
• Other duties as assigned.
