Job summary

Newmark is seeking an experienced facilities professional to provide day-to-day operational support for a GDIT facility in Egg Harbor Township, NJ, with occasional support to a nearby warehouse. The Assistant Facility Manager will serve as a primary on-site facilities resource and collaborate with GDIT stakeholders, property management, landlords, and vendors.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in facilities coordination or related field.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent education/experience.
• Solid understanding of HVAC and building systems.
• Strong customer-service, vendor-management and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with limited supervision.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day operational management of the facility and nearby warehouse.
• Conduct routine inspections and MBWA; track issues to completion.
• Monitor HVAC, electrical and mechanical systems and coordinate repairs.
• Learn and use BAS/BMS to monitor conditions and adjust where needed.
• Manage service requests through FAMIS360 or CMMS systems.
• Coordinate vendors/contractors for HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and life-safety.
• Maintain relationships with stakeholders and provide status updates.
• Understand lease responsibilities and escalate issues as needed.
• Perform minor non-licensed maintenance tasks and assist with budgeting.
