Job summary

American Red Cross is hiring for a Facilities Maintenance Technician in Las Vegas, NV. The role involves maintaining and repairing facilities and machinery, including electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and HVAC systems. A high school diploma or GED is required, with at least 5 years of related experience preferred.

Some travel and a valid driver's license are expected. Benefits are included. This on-site position reports to the Southern Nevada chapter and requires ability to work with safety

Qualifications

• Education: High School or equivalent required. May require a trade license.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair organization facilities and properties, including routine tasks and responsibilities.
• Repair appliances and equipment; service boilers, chillers, motors, fans, pumps and related mechanical equipment.
• Plan and implement corrective maintenance based on maintenance records; review for recurring deficiencies.
• May troubleshoot and repair building HVAC equipment.
• Adhere to safety procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Possibly support fleet vehicle coordination and day-to-day operations.
• Drive vehicle to other locations as needed.
