Job summary

ZincFive is seeking a Facilities Technician at its headquarters in Tualatin, Oregon. The role focuses on maintaining facilities and grounds, performing preventive maintenance, repairs, and general building services, while supporting improvements.

The position reports to the Facilities Manager and is on-site full time. Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of facilities experience, a High School Diploma or GED, can lift 50 lbs, and are proficient with hand and power tools, carpentry, plumbing, and

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• 1–2 years of facilities, maintenance, custodial, construction, or related experience
• Basic knowledge of carpentry, plumbing, electrical systems, painting, and HVAC maintenance
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
• Experience safely operating a variety of hand and power tools
• Knowledge of handling, storage of cleaning materials, paints, and custodial equipment
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and work instructions
• Ability to work with external contractors and vendors
• Valid driver’s license with insurance maintained

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with other Facilities Technicians and provide support as needed
• Perform preventive maintenance inspections and repairs
• Carry out custodial tasks and stock supplies
• Manage facilities inventory and procure supplies from local vendors
• Handle maintenance duties including carpentry, plumbing, painting, drywall, and floor repairs
• Inspect facilities and grounds for maintenance needs and safety hazards
• Report hazardous conditions to Facilities Manager
• Follow safety policies and maintain maintenance records
• Assist with facility improvements, office moves, and company events
• Participate in on-call rotation and occasional irregular hours
