Job summary

The Salvation Army Southern Territory is seeking a full-time Maintenance Supervisor at Camp Hoblitzelle in Midlothian, TX. This role plans, schedules, and oversees daily maintenance of buildings, grounds, and vehicles, ensuring safety and compliance with SOPs.

Salary range listed; on-site job with up to 40 hours per week, may require extra hours during busy periods. Qualifications include a High School Diploma or GED with 5–7 years of skilled maintenance experience, at least 3 years in

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with two years of vocational/technical training in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, or construction trades.
• Five to seven years progressively responsible maintenance/repair experience for commercial buildings and grounds, with at least three years in a supervisory capacity.
• Valid State Driver's License and CPR/First Aid/AED certifications.

Responsibilities

• Plans, schedules, assigns, and supervises subordinate maintenance and grounds personnel for Camp Hoblitzelle operations.
• Plans, supervises and monitors preventative maintenance of mechanical, electrical, utilities equipment and appliances.
• Assists supervisor with departmental budget preparation and administration.
• Develops and maintains a network of qualified subcontractors, vendors and professional services for multiple projects.
• Prepares and submits contracts and paperwork for special services, renovations, and construction projects.
