The Salvation Army Southern Territory is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor for Camp Hoblitzelle Camp & Conference Center in Midlothian, TX. You will plan, schedule, and supervise day‑to‑day maintenance of buildings, grounds, and vehicles, while coordinating with subcontractors and managing the budget.

You will lead a team, ensure safety standards, and contribute to project work while maintaining high professional standards in a faith‑based organization.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; additional vocational training in trades is preferred.
• 5–7 years of progressively responsible maintenance/repair experience for commercial buildings and grounds; 3+ years in a supervisory role.
• Experience developing budgets and administering departmental budgets.
• Ability to plan schedules, supervise staff, and manage subcontractors and vendors.
• Valid State Driver's License and safe driving record.

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, assign and supervise maintenance and grounds staff for Camp operations.
• Oversee preventative maintenance of mechanical, electrical, utilities equipment and appliances.
• Prepare and manage departmental budget; monitor expenditures.
• Develop and maintain vendor/sub-contractor network and ensure competitive pricing and quality work.
• Coordinate contracts and paperwork for renovations and construction projects.
• Operate Salvation Army vehicles as needed for material pickups/deliveries.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and SOPs.
