Sun Recruiting, Inc. seeks a Facilities Manager for a large personal care products production campus in Bedford Park, IL. This on-site role owns facility systems and infrastructure, bringing dedicated engineering leadership to a growing operation.

Ideal candidates will have 7+ years in manufacturing facilities management, strong project budgeting, scheduling, and contractor coordination skills, and hands-on HVAC/boiler experience. Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in Engineering, Facilities Management, or related field; or equivalent certifications with 5+ years leadership in manufacturing facilities.
• 7+ years of plant/facilities management experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Hands-on experience with HVAC, boilers, and electrical distribution.
• Proven track record managing contractors across multiple trades simultaneously.

Responsabilités

• Oversee HVAC, boilers, stationary engineering, building maintenance, and related systems.
• Manage on-site contractors across trades, ensuring standards, timelines, and safety requirements.
• Manage on-site wastewater treatment systems and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Develop and oversee capital project budgets, scopes, and schedules for infrastructure upgrades and facility improvements.
• Ensure adherence to codes, OSHA requirements, and safety standards throughout the facility.
• Identify facility improvement opportunities and lead implementation from concept through completion.
