Job summary

Axiom Custom Products in Portland, Oregon, is seeking a hands-on Head of Facilities to keep our 75,000 sq. ft. manufacturing site running safely and efficiently.

You’ll lead a small facilities team and own building operations, equipment reliability, EHS, and projects. The role focuses on preventive maintenance across CNC routers, lasers, robotics, and related systems, while coordinating vendors and budgets.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of facilities, maintenance, or manufacturing experience
• Strong knowledge of industrial equipment and preventive maintenance
• Experience with OSHA/EHS, safety programs, inspections, and compliance
• Ability to manage teams, vendors, budgets, projects, and documentation
• Highly organized, proactive, resourceful, and hands-on
• Comfortable troubleshooting problems and preventing them before they happen
• Strong communication and leadership skills

Responsibilities

• Oversee building operations, production equipment, EHS, vendors, fleet, maintenance, and facilities projects.
• Own preventive maintenance and equipment reliability across CNC routers, lasers, robotics, and related systems.
• Lead a two-person facilities team and manage budgets, schedules, and documentation.
• Maintain a safe, compliant, and efficient manufacturing environment.
