Job summary

Paylocity is seeking a Facilities Technician to oversee site facilities, maintenance, EHS, and security. You will work with internal teams, landlords, and contractors to coordinate repairs and facility moves while keeping offices, cleanrooms, and common areas safe and operational.

The role requires managing documentation, audits, and CAD drawings, and ensuring HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and other systems run reliably.

Qualifications

4–8 years of experience in Medical Device Facilities Management or related technical field.
Experience supporting cleanrooms in regulated environments (medical device or similar).
Ability to work full-time on-site in Sudbury, MA, with occasional travel to Bedford, MA.
Willing to be on-site for critical alarms 24/7.
Must be able to lift 50 lb.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with EHS partners to maintain a safe and compliant workplace.
Ensure adherence to quality standards and Gentuity QMS.
Conduct regular gemba walks to identify hazards and document issues.
Drive corrective actions to closure and support internal/external audits.
Source and manage external vendors for EHS, security, cleaning, pest control, and more.
Coordinate repairs with landlords and manage construction timelines.
Maintain up-to-date CAD drawings of facilities and layouts.
Lead facility moves and relocations as needed.
Ensure HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and other systems remain functional and well-documented.
