Job summary

Paylocity is seeking a Facilities Technician in Plano, TX to ensure the reliable operation of our site by performing preventive maintenance and repairs on HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems. You will inspect grounds and building infrastructure, coordinate with vendors, and assist with safety drills and OSHA procedures.

Qualifications

• HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems maintenance experience.
• Ability to read drawings, blueprints, and schematics.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Self-directed with scheduling and time-management abilities.
• Willingness to work outside of normal duties when needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance on HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
• Assist production team and engineers with preventive maintenance or emergency repairs.
• Repair interior and exterior building structures, including painting and patching.
• Conduct daily inspections of facilities and grounds; monitor BAS and report unsafe conditions.
• Respond to facility emergencies on a 24/7 basis and perform necessary repairs.
• Coordinate and oversee contractors and vendors for specialized projects.
• Maintain inventory of tools and supplies needed for maintenance.
• Ensure safety compliance and assist with OSHA-related drills and training.
• Keep accurate maintenance records, logs, and equipment manuals.
• Develop preventive maintenance schedules for building and equipment (e.g., RTUs).
