Job summary

Senior Lifestyle seeks an Associate Executive Director to lead on-site operations at the Gresham community. You will oversee programs, policy implementation, and ensure efficient administration while driving resident satisfaction and occupancy.

The role requires 3+ years in sales/management within senior housing, strong leadership, and excellent communication. A valid driver’s license is required and you will engage with local organizations to represent the community.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of sales and marketing or business management experience, preferably in the Senior Housing Industry.
• Professional communication with residents, guests, and coworkers.
• Strong management skills and ability to work harmoniously with staff.
• Ability to switch tasks quickly and manage multiple priorities.
• Active Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Act as the on-site executive for all operations, serving as the main contact for staff, residents, prospects, community organizations, and the public.
• Maintain resident retention by addressing issues with residents and families.
• Respond to walk-ins, phone-ins, and mail-ins promptly and appropriately.
• Stay informed about competitors and market conditions.
• Meet expectations for leases and occupancy.
• Maintain budget accountability and cash flow; anticipate and minimize deficits.
• Hire, train, discipline, and terminate staff per policy.
• Maintain local, state, and federal licenses for the community.
• Lead staff meetings and coordinate team activities.
• Protect resident rights and assist residents in making informed decisions with dignity and respect.
• Represent the community in local, state, and professional organizations.
