Job summary

Kitsap Mental Health Services (KMHS) is seeking an Environmental Services (EVS) Technician to maintain clean, safe environments across our campuses. You will perform routine cleaning and specialized tasks to meet infection prevention standards, working independently or as part of a team across multiple sites.

Responsibilities include restroom disinfection, general area cleaning, waste disposal, and stock maintenance, with a focus on safety and efficiency in healthcare and commercial spaces.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience in housekeeping, janitorial or custodial work.
• Must be able to drive company and personal vehicles per agency requirements, including Washington license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning to maintain healthcare and commercial spaces to high standards.
• Clean and disinfect restrooms, surfaces, fixtures, and replenish supplies.
• Empty trash and manage waste according to safety procedures.
• Clean lobbies, kitchens, dining areas, and offices; maintain equipment and supplies.
• Report equipment or safety issues promptly to supervisor.
