Job summary

The Saloon Restaurant in Ventura, CA is seeking an Event Coordinator for a full-time, on-site role. You will handle inquiries, coordinate spaces, prepare proposals, and manage contracts and payments to ensure flawless events.

This position also involves site tours for clients, creating event orders, and communicating changes promptly to clients and staff. You will contribute to accurate financial reporting and help drive business growth through client outreach.

Responsibilities

• Handles events inquiries from phone calls, website, emails, and walk-ins
• Provides room availability information and pricing
• Site tours with potential clients, both onsite and offsite.
• Creates and sends out proposals to clients
• Manages event documentation such Event Orders, contracts, custom menus, payments, receipts
• Maintains, updates, and tracks event changes
• Recording all changes to events and notifying all parties as soon as possible.
• Generate weekly report of upcoming private events and their statuses to send out to management
• Planning event details and aspects, including seating, dining and guests
• Creating reliable financial reports and collecting payments on time
• Pursuing potential clients door to door
