Job summary

Hyatt Hotels Corporation is seeking an Event Sales Manager to drive revenue by selling and managing events from inquiry to contract, including proposals, site tours, and contract negotiations. The focus is on weddings and social events for 100–400 guests.

This on-site role collaborates with Social Event Planning Managers and an assigned Event Coordinator to ensure a seamless client experience and smooth handoff to hotel teams before, during, and after each event.

Qualifications

• Two years hotel or event-related sales experience preferred.
• Ability to respond to event leads and create proposals.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented.
• Proven ability to negotiate terms and finalize contracts.
• Experience with weddings or social events is strongly preferred.
• Proficiency with general computer applications.

Responsibilities

• Sell and manage events from initial inquiry through contract execution.
• Respond to event leads, create proposals, conduct site tours, negotiate terms, and finalize contracts.
• Drive revenue, build strong client relationships, and ensure smooth handoff to internal hotel teams before, during, and after events.
• Partner with Social Event Planning Managers and an assigned Event Coordinator for a seamless client experience.
