Local Food Group is seeking an Event Captain for the Sendero Ranch site in Beckwourth, CA. This on-site role serves as the main point of contact for daily event operations and ensures events run smoothly, coordinating room setups, breaks, and support to Operations Specialists.

The position requires strong communication, leadership, and flexibility to cover day/evening shifts, with a 6:00 a.m.–11:00 p.m. schedule, Monday through Friday. Salary is $29.00–$30.00 per hour, fully on-site.

• Ability to lift 45lbs, move furniture, and work in an indoor/outdoor environment.
• Ability to drive company vehicles when necessary.
• Willingness to receive and give feedback; open about what’s working and what needs to improve.

Responsabilidades

• Collaborate with Operations Specialists and the Leadership Program team to ensure successful event execution and high guest service.
• Stay apprised of agenda changes to ensure stakeholder satisfaction.
• Remain near seminar participants to enable timely assistance.
• Act as liaison between stakeholders and vendor partners.
• Monitor and respond to group chats with prompt, professional communication.
• Relay stakeholder communications and follow through on actions.
• Reset all event spaces before, during and after seminars, and inspect readiness.
• Coordinate seminar setup and closing procedures, attend to breaks, and communicate with the FOH team.
• Maintain organization of supplies and update inventory as needed.
• Work with Ranch teams to ensure cleanliness, stock, and maintenance as needed.
• Help coordinate activities per the event agenda and participate in weekly Event Review meetings.
