Job summary

First Equipment Company, a Turner Construction Company division, seeks a professional to implement on-site equipment rental programs and lead training, onboarding, and daily management of on-site equipment. You will collaborate with project teams and vendors to optimize equipment use, movement, and maintenance across sites.

Key responsibilities include coordinating with rental vendors, visiting project sites, ensuring service excellence, and supporting systems for rental software and contracts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited program and minimum of 2 years of experience in construction rentals, logistics, equipment, or warehouse management, or equivalent.
• Understanding of construction equipment, jobsite logistics, and equipment maintenance requirements.
• Knowledge of financial principles and budget forecasting.
• Active listening with strong follow-up practices.
• Highly organized to manage On-site Equipment Rental Programs (OERP) on project sites or yards.
• Process skills to manage logistics and communicate expectations.
• Ability to engage and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Familiar with Wynne RentalMan and Coupa P2P systems.
• Experience with continuous improvement concepts and tools.
• Willingness to embrace change and learn new processes and technologies.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and database applications.
• Regular travel.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the point of contact for project teams and on-site rental vendors.
• Visit project sites to manage on-site equipment requirements and transitions.
• Provide exceptional customer service and timely communication with stakeholders.
• Support end-user systems troubleshooting for rental software and contract management.
• Monitor equipment utilization, vendor billing, and invoice accuracy.
• Provide on-site equipment rental program preconstruction information and equipment lists.
• Develop and maintain vendor relationships to ensure reliability and service standards.
• Other activities, duties, and responsibilities as assigned.
