Rumpke Waste & Recycling seeks a Site Engineer for Mt Sterling Landfill in Jeffersonville, KY. You will provide technical and project management support, ensuring environmental and regulatory compliance, coordinating with consultants and regulators, and managing permits and construction activities from planning to certification.

The role requires a BS in Civil, Environmental, or Geotechnical Engineering, experience with AutoCAD and Civil 3D, and strong MS Office skills.

Qualifications

• BS in Civil, Environmental, or Geotechnical Engineering.
• Experience in solid waste or environmental projects preferred.
• Experience with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Trimble Office GPS preferred.

Responsabilités

• Provide technical and project management support for assigned facilities.
• Ensure environmental and regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate with consultants and regulators; manage permits.
• Oversee construction activities from planning through final certification.
• Develop and maintain working knowledge of site features and permits.
• Prepare RFPs and bid evaluations as needed.
• Support five-year facility schedule and budget planning.
• Monitor compliance tracker and action plans to meet deadlines.
• Coordinate environmental submittals to avoid violations.
• Travel between offices as required; interact with site management.
