Job summary

AECOM is seeking a motivated Environmental Scientist/Geologist to support the Environmental business line from the Omaha, Nebraska office, primarily on Department of Defense projects.

The candidate will plan, execute, analyze and report environmental measures, interpret data, ensure regulatory compliance and prepare technical documents. A Bachelor’s in Environmental Science or Geology with 4 years of experience is required, with US citizenship essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Geology, or related field with 4 years of experience.
• Valid U.S. Driver's License and pass motor vehicle records check.
• Background check and enrollment in medical surveillance program.
• US Citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, analyze and report environmental measures.
• Interpret data and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Prepare technical documents and proposals.
• Coordinate with project managers and field staff and subcontractors.
• Travel within the United States for fieldwork as needed.
