Job summary

ACS Professional Staffing is seeking an Engineering Operations Specialist 2 to work on-site in Vancouver, WA. This role provides materials coordination and supports government-furnished project materials, ensuring availability per contract and work schedule.

The position collaborates with Construction and Maintenance Services supervisors, CORs, contract specialists, and external stakeholders, using ERP and reporting tools to keep projects on track.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred in business administration, supply and logistics management, construction management, engineering, or related field.
• 5 years of engineering operations experience supporting construction logistics, engineering operations, or related field are required.

Responsibilities

• Review Bills of Materials, availability of Government Furnished Materials (GFM) and MR Order Status Reports for long lead items to validate materials for projects are ordered and available at NTP.
• Provide construction contractors with detailed lists of project materials and quantities required.
• Provide external stakeholders with written/verbal overview of material procedures.
• Run pre-defined reports to identify materials that will not be available and notify the project team.
• Monitor material status and alert Project Manager of any issues; assist in expediting materials as needed.
• Coordinate with Ross Warehouse to arrange pickup or shipping of project materials and schedule release to contractors.
