Job summary

CorSource Technology Group, a Portland-based staffing firm, seeks an Engineering Operations Specialist to provide materials coordination and support for construction and maintenance services. You will validate Government Furnished Materials, prepare material lists, and collaborate with CORs, COs, and project teams to keep projects on schedule.

The role emphasizes reviewing BOMs, managing materials, and generating reports using BES, Asset Suite and PowerBI.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, supply and logistics management, construction management or engineering preferred.
• This is a Level 2 position: 5 years of engineering operations experience, supporting construction logistics and engineering operations or a related field is required.
• Broad knowledge of engineering operations policies and procedures involving material and equipment inventory and control.
• Knowledge of processes, automated records and control systems for acquisitions, accountability, control and disposal of facilities, equipment, materials, supplies, and other resources.

Responsibilities

• Review Bills of Materials, availability of Government Furnished Materials (GFM) and MR Order Status Reports for long lead items to validate materials for projects.
• Provide construction contractors with detailed lists of project materials and quantities required.
• Create inventory worksheets for use during a physical inventory.
• Process material returns per guidelines and coordinate with Investment Recovery (IRC).
• Monitor, track and report material usage and cost details for projects.
• Extract BES, Asset Suite and PowerBI reports and analyze material charges against work orders.
• Attend meetings to provide material status updates to project managers and contractors.
