Job summary

ENERGY SYSTEMS GROUP is seeking a highly skilled Controls and Maintenance Supervisor to lead our Operations Services team at the Fort Detrick Energy Production Facility in Frederick, MD. This on-site role oversees Building Automation Systems, IT network, OSI PI Historian, and fire and security controls, directing preventive maintenance and commissioning activities with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of related work experience with instrument and HVAC controls.
• Experience supervising maintenance staff and coordinating with electricians and mechanics.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex control systems and modify software as needed.

Responsibilities

• Supervise maintenance staff and assign work orders, ensuring safe completion.
• Monitor BAS trending reports to identify errors affecting meter readings.
• Install, calibrate, and repair control instruments and sensors to specified standards.
• Troubleshoot and repair complex control system malfunctions across boiler, chiller, and emergency power systems.
• Coordinate activities with Facility Manager and subcontractors with professional conduct.
