Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management or related field; or equivalent tech leadership experience.
• 7+ years in facilities management with capital/construction project roles in industrial settings.
• Experience managing general and trade contractors, bids, contracts, and safety oversight.
• Know-how of building, fire, life safety codes, OSHA/MOSH, and local permitting.

Responsibilities

• Lead facility capital projects from scope through commissioning and closeout.
• Develop schedules, budgets, risk registers and report progress to site leadership.
• Coordinate with architects/engineers to produce drawings and specs.
• Oversee on-site construction activities, safety, changes, and punch lists.
• Ensure compliance with Maryland codes and NFPA/ADA standards.
• Manage permits, inspections, and regulatory audits; resolve findings.
