Job summary

Amphibious Medics is seeking an On-Site EMT/Paramedic to serve as a construction site medical representative. You will provide triage, first aid, CPR, and referrals while maintaining site medical records and coordinating with safety teams.

The role requires one year of 911 EMS experience, OSHA knowledge, and CPR/First Aid instructor credentials. You’ll work on active construction sites and support workers’ compensation processes, in a dynamic, safety-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a valid National Registry or State EMT-B Certification.
• Valid CPR certification at the BLS for Healthcare Provider level (American Heart Association) or Professional Rescuer (American Red Cross).
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with OSHA regulations, specifically 29 CFR 1910.
• Experience working on large-scale construction sites.
• Experience with the workers’ compensation claim process.
• Instructor certification for First Aid, CPR, and AED training.
• An active OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 card.

Responsibilities

• Provide triage, first aid, and/or referral to an outside medical provider if indicated.
• Be calm in emergencies, assess situations, make sound decisions, and respond swiftly and appropriately, including providing first aid, CPR, and other emergency medical care within the scope of the position.
• Maintain medical records and medical records database for the site.
• Maintain on-site inventory supplies, restock, and clean equipment used in the treatment of employees.
• Communicate with outside medical providers on workers’ injury/healing progression and provide direct follow-up care with workers.
• Provide daily activity logs to the safety team and management team.
• Perform frequent “site walks” to interact with both workers and managers.
• Help coordinate an annual, semi-annual, or quarterly on-site health fair.
• Participate in frequent medical and safety awareness meetings with construction workers.
