Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• EMT or First Responder certification preferred.

• Ability to use CAD systems and telecommunications devices.

Responsibilities

• Receive and assess emergency calls, determine priority and needed response.
• Dispatch first responders using CAD and related systems to optimize response times.
• Relay critical information to EMS teams and callers, updating as situations evolve.
• Maintain accurate records of calls, responses and outcomes for audit purposes.
• Coordinate with multiple agencies during incidents and ensure safety procedures are followed.
