Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking an Emergency Management Coordinator to lead emergency preparedness, crisis planning, incident response support, and training at a Rhode Island client site. The role requires on-site presence Monday-Friday and the ability to respond to incidents after hours.

The position covers managing EMP/EAP/ Crisis Plans, training development, and collaboration with security leadership to strengthen organizational readiness. Salary details are provided above.

Qualifications

• Candidates must have at least 10 years of emergency services management-related experience.
• Must meet one of the following: Master's degree; or Bachelor's degree + 4 years security/program management and planning experience; or Associate degree + 10 years; or High school diploma/equivalent + 12 years.
• Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills.
• Ability to lead priorities and make decisions in stressful, rapidly changing environments.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and PDF documents.
• Preferred: FEMA IS-100, IS-200, IS-700, and IS-800 certifications; EMT, paramedic, or equivalent medical certification.

Responsibilities

• Manage emergency and crisis management programs, plans, and training.
• Maintain Emergency Management Plans (EMP), Emergency Action Plans (EAP), and Crisis Management Plans.
• Support site incident assessment and emergency/crisis response.
• Partner with security leadership and business stakeholders on preparedness and response.
• Serve as an emergency/crisis liaison during incidents, as needed.
• Develop and deliver training, maintain records, and evaluate training effectiveness.
• On-site presence Monday-Friday with after-hours incident response as needed.
