ifm prover USA is seeking an Embedded Software Engineer to join their Product Development team. This position involves designing and developing embedded software for industrial sensors. The engineer will collaborate with various teams to take products from prototype to production.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of embedded software development experience.
• Strong C/C++ programming skills for embedded systems.
• Experience with microcontrollers and embedded development workflows.
• Familiarity with hardware interfaces such as I2C, SPI, and UART.
• Experience with debugging tools and troubleshooting.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and integrate hardware/software.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement embedded software for sensor products.
• Develop firmware in C/C++ for microcontroller-based platforms.
• Participate in software architecture and design reviews.
• Develop algorithms for sensor measurement and signal processing.
• Support all phases of development from prototypes to release.
• Maintain technical documentation throughout development.
