Job summary

Panasonic Energy Corporation of North America in De Soto, Kansas is seeking a Qualified Electrical Technician (QET) to support on-site electrical engineering activities and 24/7 battery manufacturing operations.

The role requires testing, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical systems up to 480VAC, working from schematics and wiring diagrams, and ensuring safety compliance. Candidates must have 3+ years of manufacturing electrical experience and be able to work 12-hour shifts.

Qualifications

Minimum of 3+ years of manufacturing electrical technician experience performing maintenance and electrical troubleshooting.
Experience maintaining and troubleshooting electrical systems up to 480VAC.
Ability to read schematics and wiring diagrams; familiarity with SOPs.
Experience with control systems in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
Must work a 12-hour shift to support 24/7 operations; NFPA 70E familiarity.

Responsibilities

Perform QET and electrical preventative maintenance to support 24/7 plant operations.
Provide on-call QET support including breaker resets and LOTO.
Assist CPST with high-power electrical troubleshooting and modifications.
Perform PM, grounding/bonding, cable management, and secure terminations.
Work 12-hour shifts; participate in 24/7 battery manufacturing operations.
