Job summary

ITAC is seeking an On-Site Quality Installation Oversight professional to lead QA/QC on electrical construction sites. You will inspect conduit, switchgear, panels, and grounding while ensuring compliance with NEC and client specs.

The role requires coordinating with engineers, foremen, subcontractors, and QA/QC reps to drive quality and safety on active projects. The position focuses on in-process inspections, testing oversight, and meticulous documentation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Journeyman or Master’s License is required.
• Minimum of 2 years hands-on QA/QC experience in commercial or industrial electrical construction is required.
• Strong knowledge of NEC, testing methods, and installation practices.
• Comfortable working full-time on-site in active construction zones.
• Familiarity with QA documentation and tools like Procore or BIM 360 is a plus.
• OSHA 30 or NFPA 70E safety certifications desirable.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and inspect electrical work on-site to ensure alignment with specifications, NEC, and client requirements.
• Conduct daily walkdowns and QA checks during active construction phases.
• Oversee pre-commissioning and final testing of electrical systems; witness and document activities.
• Maintain QA logs, test records, inspection reports, NCRs, and punch lists; track submittals and RFIs.
• Coordinate with project engineers, foremen, subcontractors, and client QA/QC representatives.
• Participate in toolbox talks, safety walks, and progress meetings; act as the quality voice on site.
• Ensure adherence to safety standards, permitting, and company policies.
