Job summary

Amteck is seeking a QAQC Coordinator for our electrical construction division. This is a traveling role across multiple project sites, with opportunities for long-term placements and progression within the company.

You will review plans, enforce NEC compliance, and perform on-site quality checks using laptops and tablets. This position emphasizes safety, growth, and durable skill development in low voltage, fire alarm, controls, and instrumentation.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in electrical construction.
• 2+ years of QAQC experience preferred.
• Valid JM license or Amteck Certification preferred.
• Working knowledge of codes and standards related to electrical work (NEC).
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and wiring schematics.
• Capable of using a laptop or tablet for field documentation.

Responsibilities

• Perform QA/QC checks on electrical construction projects.
• Review drawings and specs to ensure compliance with NEC and standards.
• Travel to multiple project sites as required.
• Document inspections and report findings clearly and promptly.
