Job summary

Superior is seeking a Project Manager to drive our electrical construction projects forward at the Ironton, Ohio jobsite. You will manage construction projects, schedule resources, and ensure budgets and timelines are met while coordinating with the Superintendent and Foremen for successful progress and completion.

This role requires at least four years in commercial construction project management, plus knowledge of construction management software and a relevant degree or certificate.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years in commercial construction project management or equivalent field management experience.
• Experience with design-build, hard bid, and negotiated projects around $5M–$50M.
• Extensive knowledge of construction management software.
• Active OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Mitigate and manage project risk, and elevate concerns quickly to Project Operations and Field Operations leadership.
• Create and manage the full project schedule from kickoff to closeout.
• Manage all project finance requirements, including billings, project setup, cost control, and change orders.
• Earn client trust through clear communication, collaboration, and problem solving.
• Chair project meetings, plan progress updates, and review with customers.
• Coordinate with departments to ensure materials are available as needed.
• Provide leadership and clear guidance to the project team.
• Understand the full scope of the contract and negotiate changes as needed.
• Review estimates, design drawings, specifications, and contracts.
• Maintain a high degree of safety on the jobsite and ensure timely closeout procedures.
