Job summary

Fountain Services seeks an experienced Electrical Engineering & Project Manager to lead our Engineering Department and deliver large commercial and industrial electrical construction projects in the Southeast. You will guide engineering teams and coordinate with Operations, Estimating, BIM, and leadership to ensure project success.

The role emphasizes mentorship, constructability, value engineering, and innovative construction practices, while advancing engineering standards and department

Qualifications

• Experience leading engineering teams and major electrical projects
• Background in commercial/industrial electrical construction
• Ability to mentor employees and build collaborative teams
• Strong knowledge of electrical power distribution systems

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop an engineering team of ~8–10 professionals
• Provide technical leadership for commercial and industrial electrical construction projects
• Review electrical drawings, specifications, calculations, and construction documents
• Collaborate with Project Managers to improve constructability and project execution
• Develop value engineering solutions that improve efficiency and reduce project costs
• Support Design-Build projects from concept through completion
• Expand prefabrication, BIM coordination, and innovative construction practices
• Partner with estimating during project pursuits and budgeting
• Improve engineering processes, standards, and quality
• Support scheduling, planning, and technical problem-solving during construction
• Work directly with executive leadership to help grow the Engineering Department
