Job summary

Fountain Services is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineering & Project Manager to lead our engineering department and deliver some of the Southeast's largest commercial and industrial projects. You will mentor a team, provide technical direction, and work with operations, estimating, BIM, and leadership to drive successful execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field (or equivalent industry experience).
• PE license preferred but not required.
• 8+ years of commercial/industrial electrical construction experience.
• Experience leading engineering teams, project teams, or major electrical construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of electrical power distribution systems and commercial construction.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop an engineering team of approximately 8–10 professionals.
• Provide technical leadership for commercial and industrial electrical construction projects.
• Review electrical drawings, specifications, calculations, and construction documents.
• Collaborate with Project Managers to improve constructability and project execution.
• Develop value engineering solutions that improve efficiency and reduce project costs.
• Support Design-Build projects from concept through completion.
• Expand prefabrication, BIM coordination, and innovative construction practices.
• Partner with estimating during project pursuits and budgeting.
• Improve engineering processes, standards, and quality.
• Support scheduling, planning, and technical problem-solving during construction.
• Work directly with executive leadership to help grow the Engineering Department.
