Job summary

SABG is hiring an Electrical Engineer to support Engineering Support Services for the 50th Civil Engineer Squadron at Schriever Space Force Base in Colorado Springs, on-site with minimal travel.

The role requires an ABET-accredited electrical engineering degree and at least 5 years of relevant experience, plus a NACI clearance eligibility. The engineer will manage lifecycle projects, perform design calculations, and coordinate with stakeholders across disciplines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering (ABET-accredited) and at least 5 years of relevant experience.
• Strong familiarity with architectural, mechanical, and structural disciplines.
• Comprehensive knowledge of engineering/construction standards, regulations, health and safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide non-personal electrical engineering support for full lifecycle of facilities and infrastructure projects on a military installation.
• Perform design, planning, and construction management for complex projects and site surveys.
• Plan, budget, and execute projects using cost-estimating tools and funding processes (e.g., AFCAMP).
• Coordinate as primary technical consultant with engineers, architects, planners, contracting officers, and external agents.
