Job summary

SABG is seeking an Electrical Engineer to support engineering services for the 50 CES at Schriever AFB in Colorado Springs. The role requires planning and design work for large construction projects, with oversight of contractor performance and safety compliance on a local on-site basis.

The candidate will coordinate with engineers, architects, and government agencies, using CAD, GIS, and modeling tools to analyze data and generate SOWs, cost estimates, and project documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
• At least 5 years of relevant electrical engineering experience.
• Strong knowledge of engineering standards, contracting regulations, safety, and environmental laws.

Responsibilities

• Perform planning and design work for substantial projects including new construction and renovations.
• Manage construction surveillance to ensure contractor compliance with specs and safety.
• Plan, program, budget, and execute engineering projects with cost-estimating tools.
• Liaise with engineers, architects, planners, contracting officers, and external agents.
• Analyze technical data using CAD, GIS, and modeling programs for project development.
