Job summary

Genesis Staffing is seeking an experienced Site Electrical Engineer for an on-site role in Bowling Green, OH. You will design power distribution, lighting and grounding systems and coordinate construction, operation and maintenance of electrical facilities on industrial projects.

The ideal candidate has design/installation experience with medium- and low-voltage distribution, strong code knowledge (NEC, ANSI, NFPA), and proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD, with the ability to manage projects with

Qualifications

Experience with design/installation of medium and low-voltage distribution equipment.
Strong knowledge of NEC, ANSI, NEMA and NFPA codes and standards.
Able to handle onsite plant projects with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

Design power system facilities and equipment and coordinate construction, operation and maintenance of electrical systems.
Develop conceptual layouts and sketches to drive efficient designs.
Plan, schedule, conduct and coordinate detailed electrical engineering phases.
Develop equipment specifications.
Develop construction specifications and contractor scope documents.
Direct or prepare drawings and materials to be used in construction and installation.
Inspect completed installations for conformance with specs and safety standards.
Produce one-line diagrams, wiring drawings, panel layouts, motor schematics, instrument loops, conduit and tray routing.
Work with grounding requirements (high resistance, isolated grounding).
Provide on-site startup support.
