Job summary

Faith Technologies is seeking a Commissioning Engineer I to support the creation of complete project commissioning plans and resourcing plans. The role includes on-site execution and auditing of jobsite commissioning activities, with NEC knowledge and ability to read one-lines and schematics.

Proficiency in PC and MS Office is required. The position requires a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and 3–8 years of related experience, or 5–12 years in electrical commissioning, with 100%

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering.
Experience: 3–8 years of related experience or 5–12 years of electrical commissioning experience.
Travel: 100% travel.
Work Schedule: 7 AM–5 PM, Mon–Fri; may require work on other days/times to meet business needs.

Responsibilities

Define commissioning requirements with Preconstruction and Project Managers.
Assist with creating LOTO plans and start-up scripts.
Complete procedures/checklists to verify equipment meets specs and integrates into a system.
Assist Site Lead with LOTO/start-up script implementation.
Conduct field surveys and collect data to ensure equipment conforms to standards.
Provide reports and support to project managers and commissioning team.
Support field commissioning activities through research and addressing needs during commissioning.
Guide office/field teams to ensure start-up activities comply with specs and customer requirements.
Collaborate with equipment providers to troubleshoot during start-up, testing and commissioning.
