Job summary

Sofidel America, a leading paper products manufacturer, is seeking an Environmental Health and Safety Manager to lead safety and environmental programs at the Duluth, MN facility. The role reports to the Regional EHS Manager and focuses on driving a culture of safety and regulatory compliance within a manufacturing environment.

The ideal candidate will have extensive EHS leadership experience, develop training, manage budgets, and oversee audits and incident investigations to ensure a safe

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental, Health and Safety, Engineering, or related technical discipline.
• 5+ years’ EHS experience in industrial environment.
• Demonstrated ability to drive safety improvements and maintain regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and update safety policies, manuals, and procedures to ensure facility safety.
• Ensure compliance with federal/state regulations and corporate policies.
• Develop and deliver safety training programs meeting legal requirements.
• Manage emergency action plans and provide safety orientation for new employees and contractors.
• Supervise EHS Specialist and conduct safety audits and risk assessments.
• Report safety performance and coordinate with insurance providers as needed.
