Job summary

MSR-FSR seeks an EHS Coordinator to provide daily on-site safety and environmental compliance support at the MSR-FSR Critical Component Solutions Operations facility. The role involves handling hazardous chemicals, respirator use, and collaboration with EHS and QA teams.

This salaried position may be 1-deep at times, supporting a facility of 20–90 people, with a local safety committee and remote peer support from the US EHS Team.

Qualifications

• AA or equivalent from a two-year college or technical/military school, or six months to one-year related experience and/or training.
• Additional training/certifications in Safety, Occupational Health, and/or Environmental Protection are preferable.
• Computer skills required: Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, e-mail, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Respond to requests for EHS assistance (answers, regulatory clarifications, EHS plans/forms).
• Monitor compliance with permits and maintain documentation.
• Prepare and disseminate guidance documents (policies, manuals, plans, procedures, training).
• Perform floor audits to assess compliance and identify improvement opportunities.
• Conduct risk assessments, spot inspections, and process reviews for EHS compliance.
• Assist in incident investigations and after-action plans.
• Provide workforce training presentations in small groups.
