Job summary

Haselden Construction is seeking an Environmental, Health & Safety Supervisor to champion safety on active projects in Bozeman, MT. You will lead field safety programs, perform hazard assessments, conduct pre-task planning, and coach crews to achieve zero-incident goals.

You will interpret OSHA standards, manage incident investigations, and collaborate with operations to integrate safety into planning and execution. Travel to project sites is required.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of EH&S experience in commercial construction or similar field operations.
• Strong working knowledge of OSHA construction standards and environmental compliance.
• Experience conducting inspections, audits, and incident investigations on active construction sites.
• Knowledge of fall protection, trenching, crane & rigging, confined space entry, silica, electrical safety, lockout/tagout.
• Ability to lead investigations and develop corrective actions.
• Experience with stormwater management and SWMP implementation preferred.
• Ability to interpret safety plans, SDSs and technical docs.
• Proficiency in MS Office; Procore preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a visible field presence and engage with craft labor, foremen, superintendents, and project managers to identify EH&S risks.
• Interpret and apply Haselden EH&S standards to support safe operations.
• Conduct inspections, audits, observations, and risk assessments to verify corrective actions.
• Coordinate pre-task planning and high‑risk activity reviews.
• Support incident investigations and root cause analysis with corrective actions.
• Coach project teams on hazard recognition, planning and safe work execution.
• Deliver safety talks, orientation support, and training programs.
• Partner with operations to integrate safety into planning and scheduling.
• Support environmental compliance efforts, including stormwater management (SWMP).
• Travel to active project locations; build trust and credibility on site.
