Job summary

Akima Mission Optimization (AMO) seeks an EEO Specialist to support the NSWC Dahlgren Division EEO Office on-site. The role covers RA case management, data review, and preparation of reports in accordance with federal EEO guidance.

Qualified candidates will have an active interim-secret (or higher) clearance, associate degree or equivalent experience, and strong MS Office skills. The position offers comprehensive benefits and a competitive $70,000–$78,000 salary range.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Human Resources or related field or 3+ years HR/EEO experience.
• Experience in federal‑sector EEO or HR office.
• Familiarity with Rehabilitation Act, PWFA, PUMP Act.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams).

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative, analytical, and technical support to the NSWCDD Reasonable Accommodation Program.
• Coordinate discussions between employees and supervisors on accommodation requests.
• Manage and track RA cases in NEAT with proper documentation.
• Maintain confidentiality of medical/accommodation files.
• Draft accommodation determination letters and supporting docs per Navy policy.
• Assist in developing EEO training materials and briefings.
• Deliver EEO training and new employee orientation sessions.
• Support the Complaints Program Manager with case file maintenance and resolution.
