Job summary

Calyx Containers in Salt Lake City is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to own the dock: inbound and outbound pallets, location discipline, and real-time inventory accuracy. You will implement the pallet position board, labeling, put-away rules, cycle counts, and dock paperwork while coordinating freight and carriers.

This on-site role requires 2+ years in receiving/shipping, ERP/WMS experience, Excel skills, and forklift certification.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in receiving, shipping, warehouse, or inventory control in manufacturing or distribution.
• Hands-on experience with an ERP/WMS or job ticket system.
• Comfort with numbers and denominators; able to calculate accuracy and explain variances.
• Solid Excel or Google Sheets skills.
• Forklift experience; certification possible.
• Clear written and verbal communication with production, supply chain, and vendors.
• Spanish and English fluency preferred.
• A degree is not required; follow-through is valued.

Responsibilities

• Receive inbound loads and assign to locations; manage the dock gate.
• Maintain the pallet position board and ensure counts are current.
• Label and organize storage locations; ensure proper put-away for materials.
• Maintain inventory accuracy in the system; close receipts the day pallets land.
• Run cycle counts; publish accuracy and root-cause variances.
• Coordinate shipping; verify outbound against orders and schedule.
• Manage freight and carriers; track inbound/outbound and costs.
• Support launch staging and ensure dock readiness and paperwork.
