Zusammenfassung

Akima Facilities Operations (AFO) seeks a Construction Manager to provide on-site oversight for post-disaster repairs and recovery activities in Honolulu, HI. The role coordinates daily contractor activities, ensures safety, and adheres to approved scopes, schedules, and government direction.

The candidate will review plans and submittals, monitor progress, and maintain daily records while collaborating with SSHO, QC, Logistics Lead, and government representatives to resolve issues and support

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in logistics, construction management, or related field.
• 7+ years in construction management or field supervision.
• Experience coordinating DoD, NAVFAC, USACE, or military installations.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specs.

Aufgaben

• Provide daily field oversight of repairs and recovery projects.
• Coordinate contractor and subcontractor activities, including sequencing, manpower, equipment, and materials.
• Conduct site inspections and monitor progress, workmanship, and schedule performance.
• Review work plans, drawings, specifications, repair scopes, and submittals for constructability and compliance.
• Identify field conditions, conflicts, deficiencies, and schedule risks and coordinate resolution.
• Verify completed work and document quantities, progress, and field conditions.
• Coordinate with the SSHO, QC, Logistics Lead, contractors, and Government representatives.
• Support damage assessments, emergency stabilization, temporary repairs, and transition to permanent restoration.
• Participate in progress meetings, site walks, inspections, and coordination meetings.
• Maintain accurate daily records, photographs, reports, and supporting documentation.
• Elevate safety, quality, schedule, and resource issues to the Construction Manager Lead.
