Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Construction Manager Lead to guide federal facility recovery work in Kauai, Hawaii, from early assessment through construction. The role requires onsite presence in Kauai, with per diem eligibility.

You will lead construction managers and subcontractors, turning assessments into prioritized scopes while ensuring safety, quality, schedule, and cost targets are met. Ideal candidates have a long track record in facility or infrastructure construction, including leadership

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, or a related field and 10+ years of leading complex facility or infrastructure construction and repair programs including 2 years of leadership or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
• A valid driver’s license is required, along with the ability to pass a Motor Vehicle Records (MVR) check in accordance with company policy.
• Due to the nature of the work, US Citizenship is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead onsite construction management across facility repairs, building envelope restoration, utilities, and related infrastructure work.
• Translate assessment findings into executable scopes, sequencing plans, and construction priorities.
• Direct construction managers and coordinate engineers, subcontractors, vendors, and field teams.
• Monitor safety, quality, schedule, budget, and progress and resolve issues that threaten delivery.
• Review construction plans, submittals, requests for information, change proposals, and field documentation.
• Communicate project status, risks, decisions, and recovery actions to internal and federal project stakeholders.
